What is The Art of Joyful Living to you? Is it about millions on your bank account? Is it about having a happy relationship? What if it is about a different way of inviting wealth into your life -  far beyond the financial aspect? True wealth includes a happy & healthy body, way too much fun in your job, and - most of all - what if you included the future in every choice you make?

In 1983, I started my professional career in worldwide renowned 5-Star-Luxury Hotels (amongst which Hotel Bayerischer Hof, Munich, Germany; Hôtel Le Bristol, Paris, France) and spent more than 9 years living in Europe (France, UK). I call myself lucky to be speaking several languages (German, English, French, Italian, Spanish) and being able to use my worldwide travel experiences to deepen what seems to have forever been running through my veins: the ability to make the most out of every encounter - private or business - and to consistently outcreate myself. My favorite question no doubt is: "How does it get even better than this?"

In 1987, I followed my love for nature & rock-climbing by switching into the outdoor & sports industry, contributing to the major expansion of global outdoor industry leaders in new markets, amongst which Patagonia (UK) and Timberland Performance (Europe). I later ran my own wholesale agency, establishing the Swiss women's outdoor apparel brand Wild Roses from zero in the UK and the Benelux, as well as substantially growing Lowa Footwear in the UK.

In the early 2000s, when Puma was on the steep rise to become the world's most desirable sports lifestyle brand, I was more than excited to be able to contribute substantially with double digit growth rates in my categories “International Women's Athletic Apparel” and “International Men’s & Women’s Performance Apparel”.

Another milestone for me was the appointment of EU Sales & Brand Manager for Mountain Hardwear, a major leader of outdoor apparel & equipment, and to have the honors of laying the foundation for a pan-EU sales network that the brand is still thriving of today.

In 40 years of brand development, marketing & consulting, I met several hugely inspiring industry pioneers who approach the world in a totally different way just as I do. True leaders of the future who consistently challenge the Now. Catalysts of change with a strong and sustainable vision, above all Yvon Chouinard, founder of Patagonia; Jochen Zeitz, former CEO at Puma International; Mike Wallenfels, co-founder of Mountain Hardwear ; Nick Brown, founder of Nikwax & Páramo; Andreas Wilfinger & Ulla Wannemacher, founders of Ringana; Gary Douglas, founder & Dr. Dain Heer, co-creator of Access Consciousness; Jan Pascal & Alexander Kilian, founders of Café del Mundo.
